DATE NIGHT BEHBEHHH.

Bored of the same routine with your significant other? Need a new activity to reignite the excitement? Here is a list of things for you and your man/ lady to do together that range between fun, cheap, classy, sexy and adventurous. As couples you should want to challenge each other instead of slipping into a habit, although couch-potato Friday is a favourite of mine. Enjoy:
1.       Try live entertainment, such as a band at a local bar, instead of a movie. It’s funny (especially if its karaoke) and it almost always has a vibe.
2.       Bubble bath for two. Candles. Wine. Need we say more? If you are feeling extra romantic, throw in some bath oils for bath-time massages.
3.       Take a dinner cruise: The motion of the ocean sets off sensuous signals inside us (think water beds). Even if you can’t do dinner, a late afternoon ride to Robben Island of sorts will have the same effect.
4.       Cleavage is nice. Very nice: Bump it up a notch with a push-up bra, a scoop-neck top and an eye-catching necklace. Remind your man of the junk in your trunk (sorry for the crass remark).
5.       Museums usually have one free day/night a week, so hit one then. Even if you aren’t arty or intrigued by historical monuments go have a look anyway, it’s always good to learn something new or maybe sarcastically rip-off a piece you find offensive or striking. Be open-minded!
6.       Head to the highest point in town. Spend an early evening watching the twinkling lights turn on. Can anyone say Signal Hill?
7.       Head to an ice skating rink and strap on skates for some icy fun. Grand West is especially awesome and it’s a great bonding exercise to help with trust, intuition between partners and letting loose. If you fall, it’s hilarious most of the time and there is a baby rink if you find the large rink too intimidating. If you do find yourself in the baby rink, don’t be surprised when you find yourself surrounded by 5year olds.
8.       Poke around an antique shop. It’s exciting, funny (you get to see the crap your grandparents may have collected) and it is enlightening; also often very beautiful.
9.       Get up and move: Try swing dancing, tangoing or square dancing. Dancing has been known to strengthen the bond between couples as you learn about each other’s bodies on a new level. This will also contribute to a healthier, stronger sex life.
10.    Hit a hiking trail near you. Don’t worry about the sweatiness or tourist-like clothing. It’s about comfort and experience. These hiking trails also make for beautiful lunches in the forests and great photographs.
Enjoy kids, blog soon. Love x.
